Little JR was listed as an 8 year old tzu languishing at our local shelter. We picked him up today and guess what, he's probably not over a year old. Young teeth, just really messed up skin. Sarcoptic mange, demodex mange, skin infection, eye infection, worms, you name it. Poor little boy just about beat a hole in my side with his tail while I was carrying him to the car. Yes, even after this, he is wagging his tail like crazy. Probably has some sight and hearing loss, but unbelievably sweet. As I've said before, the only problem fostering a mangy critter is hugging the nasty nasty smelling dog. Ick. But he deserves it.
